Carolina Behavioral Care, PC
Carolina Behavioral Care is a multispecialty psychiatric practice that has been providing behavioral health and substance abuse assessment and treatment services to North Carolina’s children, adolescents, adults and families since 1982. Founded by Robert Fleury, MD, CBC developed the first multidisciplinary psychiatric clinic in Pinehurst before expanding into hospital based services with First Health of the Carolinas. CBC’s services have since grown in scope to focus on child and adolescent psychiatry, psychotherapy services for all ages, and both psychological and neuropsychological testing.
Through public/private partnerships with Saguaro Group, LLC, CBC has expanded to eight outpatient clinics to offer enhanced mental health services for Medicaid and uninsured patients. CBC continues to serve Sandhills Regional Medical Center and provide indigent services through Sandhills Mental Health. CBC employs a staff of approximately 70 clinicians and serves over 11,000 patient visits each month.
Combining the local expertise of Carolina Behavioral Care’s psychiatrists with the proven telepsychiatry models of InSight, CBC and InSight’s partnership is rapidly increasing North Carolina’s access to psychiatric resources. Through these time-tested telepsychiatry models CBC and InSight now offer psychiatric evaluation and care from local clinicians that focus on a true continuum of care with linkages to community resources.
