Having been conducting telepsychiatry for more than twelve years, InSight acts as an influential telepsychiatry advocate and educator. The InSight team was one of the first in its industry to receive approval from regulatory bodies to provide telepsychiatric care and remains focused on working with mental health boards, advocacy groups and provider organizations to promote the appropriate use of telepsychiatry services. Having been the first organization to conduct involuntary commitments via telepsychiatry within a number of states, InSight continues to work with regulatory bodies and state agencies to revise and develop practice guidelines, policies, and reimbursement protocols for the appropriate use of telepsychiatry. InSight provides coverage to hospitals, outpatient clinics, crisis centers, correctional facilities, med/surg hospital floors, military bases, inpatient units, primary care practices, and residential treatment programs. InSight has also partnered with numerous state agencies, non-profits, universities, and private organizations to design and impellent telepsychiatry programs. How do InSight's emergency department psychiatric evaluations work? InSight specializes in emergency psychiatric evaluations to aid
hospital emergency rooms and psychiatric crisis centers. Within an hour of
a request, InSight will connect staff from an emergency room or psychiatric
crisis center with one of its psychiatric clinicians. Through a secure video
connection, the clinician will then conduct a psychiatric evaluation and aid
the local healthcare team in properly diagnosing and caring for the
patient. InSight’s focus is on improving emergency department disposition.
By enabling psychiatric evaluations to be done by the highest level of
professional available, InSight’s services help every consumer receive the

How do InSight's outpatient psychiatric evaluations work? InSight is a leader in providing outpatient care via telepsychiatry. InSight’s outpatient partners benefit from unprecedented access to InSight’s extensive network of behavioral health specialists. InSight’s remote clinicians integrate within the existing team to provide comprehensive, ongoing consumer care.
