What does InSight do?InSight offers its partners a network of psychiatric clinicians to augment existing in person services and bring evaluation and care to otherwise underserved consumers.
InSight employs and manages a large team of telepsychiatry clinicians. InSight's clinicians come from a national pool of applicants and are held accountable to InSight's high standards of care. These remote clinicians integrate into a partner's on-site staff and become an integral part of the service delivery team. InSight's partner facilities and their remote telepsychiatry staff are linked via InSight’s internal 24/7 Access Center. Through this centralized system, partners have one contact that will gather pertinent demographic and clinical information and connect partners with the appropriate telepsychiatry professional to conduct psychiatric evaluations, medication checkups, routine follow ups, inpatient care, outpatient care and more. Clinicians can be available for video conferencing and telephone consultations. Length of time between contacting the Access Center and being connected with a clinician varies on the nature of the request. Emergency evaluations occur an hour after the initial request is made to InSight, on average. |
