Hospital Based Telepsychiatry
 Healthcare today faces daunting challenges. Behavioral health in the emergency room and a general lack of appropriate and available inpatient psychiatric beds is a near universal and major issue. While telepsychiatry clearly cannot solve the problem by making more psychiatric beds, InSight’s partners have found telepsychiatry to be an important part of the solution by reducing inappropriate hospital admissions through timely evaluation by a psychiatrist, the highest level of professional available to conduct emergency evaluations. Driven by a mission to increase access to care, InSight telepsychiatry focuses on providing services to augment our partner’s existing system of on-site care.

InSight offers alternative solutions to traditional emergency call obligations or weekend rounding by making psychiatrist available as needed via real time televideo connections.
